Indonesia U-19 national team will start their adventure in the U-19 Asian Cup Qualifier in South Korea next week. Egy Maulana Vikri and his friends will serve Brunei Darussalam on the first day, Tuesday (31/10/2017).

Indra Sjafri troops have been doing the exercises in Lembang, West Java to face this event. Lembang was chosen because of the cold weather similarity with South Korea.

"All the players are in great shape, the program in Lembang is closed with the training of set pieces (execution of dead ball), all goes well and as expected.As TC (training camp) here also there are no obstacles, we do it with pleasure because the program we can run, "said Indra in the release of U-19 national team in Lembang, Bandung, on Friday (28/10/2017).

Indonesia U-19 national team joined in Group F along with host South Korea, Malaysia, Timor Leste, and Brunei Darussalam.

Whatever the results in the qualification Indonesia U-19 national team will still qualify for the finals. Because the final round which will take place next year it will be held in Indonesia.

Indonesian national team match U-19 in Korea will be witnessed directly through the SCTV screen.

"It's a challenge because Indonesia has a lot of talented players and only with a proper coaching structure you can dominate Southeast Asian football.If you win the national team games, people want to watch more often, start excited about the national team and the stadium will be crowded, McMenemy said after the match against Bhayangkara FC Persela Lamongan, Friday (27/10/2017).

The 39-year-old coach told how the Philippines populated many naturalized players. McMenemy exemplifies his team at the 2010 AFF Cup which has a British-Filipino bloody player, such as two brothers James Younghusband and Phil Younghusband.

"The Philippines has done it, they are naturalizing a bloody half-English-Filipino player but now there is a league there and the kids are starting to play ball," he said.

"Naturalization can be a good strategy but it is important for young players to have a chance too ... Players like Ilham (Ilham Udin Armayn), Egy (Egy Maulana Vikri) should get a chance too .. Spaso is okay but the public wants to see young players from the national team," said McMenemy .
